Shekinah Worship Center is committed to regularly supporting foreign missions, ministries that help the poor and those that preach the Gospel. Below you will find a list of several of the ministries that Shekinah Worship Center directly supports.
Iris Global Ministries
Iris Global was founded as a dedicated Christian missions organization in 1980 by Rolland and Heidi Baker. At first based in the United States, it encompassed short-term evangelism trips to the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, until in 1985 Rolland and Heidi moved to Indonesia. Eventually denied permanent missionary visas in Bali, Rolland and Heidi then moved to Hong Kong. There Iris’s activities were focused on the care and evangelism of residents of the poorest and most crowded slums.
Lespri Ministries
Lespri Ministries seeks to see the country of Haiti transformed through Valuing, Educating, Equipping & Empowering Haiti’s orphans, children and youth with a special emphasis on leadership training and practical preparatory skills for life. Simultaneously with this goal, Lespri seeks to change the nation of Haiti through Christian Evangelism and Charitable Outreach. Founded by Elaine Rensink in 2015, Lespri provides education for nearly 200 students and employees 38 staff.
